With very complex and distinct aromas, in the mouth it shows fruit, complexity with high level tannins that give it a long aftertaste. This balanced combination of power and elegance certainly contributes to its aging potential, so the wine will benefit from a few years in the bottle. Quinta de S. José is located on the left bank of the Douro River, between Pinhão and Tua (Cima Corgo).
The wine runs in the veins of João Brito and Cunha - a direct descendant of Dona Antónia Ferreira, Ferreirinha - one of the examples of the new generation of winemakers and producers who settled in the Douro and launched personal projects.
