Its name is inspired by the Cartuxos monks who, since 1598, practice a solitary life of prayer in the Cartuxa Monastery in Évora, property of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation.
Cartuxa tinto 2017, is a Talha Wine, biologic, 100% made from the grape variety Alicante Bouschet, long present in Alentejo, that produces wines with a lot of character, and elegant rusticity.
