Finely balanced, rich but with freshness, balanced and elegant and with a lingering finish. In a drier style than usual associated with Port Wine. The 2009 Vintage aged for 18 months in oak barrels. Quinta de la Rosa has been in the Bergqvist family since 1906. It currently has 55 hectares of vineyards and annually produces about 50,000 liters of port and about 160,000 liters of table wines.
Quinta de la Rosa is located in the northern interior of Portugal 100kms from Porto. It is located in the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region.
