This "blend" resembles concentrated Côte-Rôtie wines. From the highest sector of the vineyard, which is characterized by austere granitic soil and its unique terroir, the wine was nicknamed "Tiles" due to the remains of tiles from an ancient Roman village that is located next to the vineyard.
