Alvarinho

Melgaço, the northernmost region of Portugal, is protected by a series of mountain ranges that allow a perfect symbiosis between rainfall, temperature and the number of hours of sunshine required for better ripening grapes of the Alvarinho variety.

The vilification process is carried out in order to insure good quality of the grapes and a wine that will have a good evolution after bottled.
